• Complete home study narrative and submit foster family file to supervisor.
  • Conduct interviews with applicants who applied for foster children with Georgia Division OF Family & Children Services (DFCS).
  • Assess home for safety by completion of DFCS home study checklist.
  • Ensures homes meet standards set forth by DFCS policy for the selection of foster families.
  • Manage caseload of program participants and conduct home visits.
  • Asked questions in accordance with instructions to obtain various specified information, such as person’s name, address, age, religious preference, and state of residency.
  • Identified and resolved inconsistencies.
  • Compiled results and data from interview or surveys, using computer or specified forms.
  • Reviewed data obtained from interview for completeness and accuracy.
  • Contacted individuals to be interviewed at home, place of business, or field location, telephone, Zoom, mail, or in person.
